Kate Dial

Production Stage Manager


Kate is a native Floridian who recently moved to New York City to pursue her career as a professional Stage Manager. After studying at University of Florida and graduating out of Florida State College with her A.A. and A.S in Theatrical Design and Technology, Kate transferred in the Fall of 2009 to Brooklyn College, where she is now a senior and finishing her B.F.A., specializing in Stage Management. Kate is an experienced Stage Manager, having worked in all aspects of Theater, Dance, and Opera, and is a two-time Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival nominee, for her work in Unspoken for Time and Is He Dead? Most recently, Kate worked as Stage Manager on the Brooklyn College production of Caryl Churchill’s Top Girls—one of the largest productions the school has ever put on. In addition to stage management, Kate Dial has worked as a Lighting Designer for the recent UNF Opera production of Hansel and Gretel and has been the resident Property Designer/Educator for three summers at FSCJ’s High School Summer Musical Theater Experience in their productions of Once Upon a Mattress, Damn Yankees, and Beauty and the Beast. For the last year, she has also worked as Assistant Production Stage Manager for the Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts, a local Roadhouse in Jacksonville, Florida.
